Blood tests at home to assess the state of your health quickly and conveniently. A single test with lipid, liver, renal, thyroid and glucose profiles, designed for care and prevention.

Total cholesterol
Measuring total cholesterol is essential to understanding our cardiovascular health. Elevated levels can indicate an increased risk of plaque build-up in the arteries, increasing the likelihood of heart problems. This information allows us to take preventive measures and proactively take care of our heart health.
LDL
Measuring LDL is essential because of its role in cholesterol and triglyceride transport and its relationship to cardiovascular risk. Elevated levels can lead to plaque build-up in the arteries, increasing the risk of heart disease and stroke. Measuring them allows us to identify potential cardiovascular health problems and take appropriate preventive measures to mitigate risks and promote heart health.
HDL
Measuring LDL is crucial because this type of cholesterol helps to remove excess cholesterol in the arteries. Elevated HDL levels are associated with a lower risk of heart disease, providing a more complete picture of cardiovascular health.
Triglycerides
Measurement of triglycerides is essential to assess lipid metabolism and detect possible imbalances. Triglycerides are a type of fat in the blood whose elevated levels are associated with an increased risk of heart disease and to detect imbalances. Knowing triglyceride levels helps us to better manage cardiovascular risk and take preventive measures to maintain optimal health.

ALT
ALT measurement allows us to assess liver health, as elevated levels may indicate possible liver problems. It is an important tool for early detection and monitoring of liver function.
AST
Testing AST levels helps to monitor the health of the liver and heart. Elevated levels can indicate damage to these organs, providing an important tool for early detection and monitoring of potential health problems.
Creatinine
Measuring creatinine levels is essential because it is one of the main markers of kidney filtering function. Elevated levels may indicate a decrease in the kidneys' filtering capacity. Including this measurement in an essential blood test allows early detection and monitoring of kidney problems.
Glomerular Filtration
Measuring glomerular filtration rate (GFR) is essential because it is a key indicator of kidney filtering function. Reduced GFR levels can signal kidney problems. Including this measurement in an essential blood test allows early detection and monitoring of kidney dysfunction.
TSH
Including TSH in the test allows detection of thyroid dysfunctions such as hypothyroidism and hyperthyroidism at an early stage. This is essential to properly diagnose and treat thyroid disorders, improve overall wellbeing and prevent complications associated with hormonal imbalances.
T4 Free
Including T4L in the test is essential for a complete assessment of thyroid function, as it provides direct information on the amount of active thyroid hormone. This helps diagnose thyroid disorders such as hypothyroidism and hyperthyroidism, and is crucial for fine-tuning treatment.
Ferritin
Low ferritin levels can be an indicator of iron deficiency. This deficiency can cause symptoms such as fatigue and weakness, as iron is needed to carry oxygen in the body. Therefore, measuring ferritin allows us to detect iron-related health problems and take steps to correct them, thus improving your energy level and overall well-being.
HbA1c
Including HbA1c measurement in a baseline blood test is essential as it provides a comprehensive assessment of long-term glycaemic control. This allows detection of potential metabolic imbalances, which is crucial for adjusting treatments and preventing complications associated with diabetes.

This blood test measures the essential parameters of your health: lipid profile, liver, kidney, thyroid and glucose level. Ideal for finding out your general condition, detecting imbalances in time and preventing complications. A complete check-up from home, especially useful if you haven't had one for a long time.

Frequently asked questions about this test

Having diabetes is a cardiovascular risk factor, as is smoking, high blood pressure, obesity and a sedentary lifestyle. Patients with diabetes mellitus (DM), in addition to controlling bad cholesterol (LDL) and blood pressure, must control glucose levels. Whether there is insufficient insulin production (type I DM) or insulin resistance (type II DM), glucose accumulates in the blood (hyperglycaemia) and this favours microvascular complications. On the other hand, the predisposition of diabetics to maintain high cholesterol levels favours a predisposition to atherosclerosis (cholesterol plaques adhering to the arteries, which, if obstructed, can lead to myocardial infarction or ischaemic stroke due to lack of blood flow).

If the results are normal, we recommend a six-monthly or annual follow-up. If they are altered, you should repeat the analysis after 3 months to check their evolution.

The essential blood test does not require any special preparation. However, we recommend taking the sample first thing in the morning on an empty stomach, and even better, after a warm shower to get the blood flowing.
