Every 8th March since 1917, women, whether separated by national borders and ethnic, linguistic, cultural, economic or political differences, unite on this day to proclaim equality, justice, peace and development.<\/p>\n<p>This year, the theme will be innovation and technological change and education in the digital age to achieve gender equality and the empowerment of all women and girls.  The goals affecting gender equality in the sector need transformative changes, with integrated approaches and innovative solutions.<\/p>\n<p>The United Nations celebration of International Women's Day recognises and honours women, girls, women's organisations and feminists who are fighting for the advancement of transformative technology and access to digital education.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-8696 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/web-beta.ailin.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/Diseno-sin-titulo-12-300x214.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"453\" height=\"323\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ailin.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/Diseno-sin-titulo-12-300x214.png 300w, https:\/\/ailin.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/Diseno-sin-titulo-12-1024x731.png 1024w, https:\/\/ailin.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/Diseno-sin-titulo-12-768x549.png 768w, https:\/\/ailin.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/Diseno-sin-titulo-12-600x429.png 600w, https:\/\/ailin.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/Diseno-sin-titulo-12.png 1400w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 453px) 100vw, 453px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Women have played a very important role in the world of technology and innovation. Did you know that the first software in history was dreamt up by a woman? Great advances and achievements in world history have been the result of the work of women.\u00a0<strong>women in technology<\/strong>. Without their work we would probably not know the world as it is today. Therefore, we would like to commemorate the involvement of women in the world of technology and medicine by compiling some of the women who have contributed the most to these disciplines, showing that perhaps they have been more invisible, but no less active, some of them, such as:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Marie Curie<\/u><\/strong> It is difficult to talk about the role of women in science without mentioning Marie Curie. This Polish physicist\u00a0<strong>reinvented physics<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>with the discovery of polonium in 1898<\/strong> and, a little later, radium, which she managed to isolate. Curie not only brought about a new vision in the field, but also opened up avenues hitherto closed to her sex: she was the first woman to hold a professorship at the \u00c9cole Normale Sup\u00e9rieure and the first woman to be appointed to a chair at the \u00c9cole Normale Sup\u00e9rieure.\u00a0<strong>pioneer to win a Nobel Prize in both physics and chemistry.<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Ada Lovelace<\/u><\/strong> Although he lived in the 19th century,\u00a0<strong>his ideas were<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>determinants for the computer sector<\/strong> and thus for many of the computer applications that today help to save lives in the healthcare environment.  Although he investigated numerous lines of research, he was mainly\u00a0<strong>responsible for the first algorithm created for a machine<\/strong>. His idea that these computers could perform more functions than computational operations sowed the seeds of much of the technology we know.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Rosalind Franklin<\/u><\/strong> The molecular biology research that dominates the laboratories would be very different without\u00a0<strong>its\u00a0<em>Photo 51<\/em>, a snapshot of DNA<\/strong>\u00a0which he took with X-ray diffraction in 1951.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Emmy Noether F<\/u><\/strong><strong>ormulated the theorem bearing his name<\/strong>, He was fundamental in understanding the theory of relativity and the link between the laws of conservation and the dynamics of systems.
